Another demo update!


Hi hoomans!

We know we have been a little quiet lately, but rest assured we are still here! We actively chose to pause our efforts on social media to and focus solely on development of ATOO. We'll get back to social media closer to release.

So when is release due? To be transparent the Q4 2023 is now Q1 2024 but could be pushed back a little more. The team is powering through while juggling full time jobs and we want you to know we are prioritizing the end result over a quick launch. And we might have been a tiny bit optimistic with the original time plan. Who knew day jobs swallowed so much time?

Join the discord, let us know what content you want from the development process. Sketches, scenes, animations or learn more about in game features? What is a spoiler and what is not?

 Demo updates!

After the initial launch of the demo we gathered a ton of valuable feedback from YOU and now some of that made it into the demo:

  • Added a pause menu that can be accessed using "Esc".
  • "Exit button" in inventory closes the inventory instead of taking you to the main menu.
  • Increased walking speed. No running animation yet but I'm tempted to create a skip cycle animation  for the full game! Personally I call it skippety-hop which I learned was not correct Thoughts? 
  • Chick Edvins obsession with shiny things is not as random anymore!
  • Added missing translations for the save and load menu and the "dancing cutscene".'
